TimeWarner DOWN

Time Warner was down today from about 2pm until around 6:45pm. If you tried to connect to the server, you couldn't. Hopefully, it's back up for now.

I can't complain, this is the first time it's been acting up since April of 02.

If it were a problem, I'd start using dslreports.com's connection diary.

Guess what? Despite the empire known as the MPAA, a judge in Norway has ruled that it is NOT illegal to break into your own property (DVD's). For more information, follow this link.

Parody at its Best

From the onion (so you know it's not a REAL story. . or is it?), Bush condenses the Bill of Rights from ten to six no-nonsensical rights.

Seriously, even the The Daily Show had a spotlight on the Total Information Awareness (TIA) system highlighting the abuse of government power last night.

It's the end of the world as we know it. . . .

And I feel fine.

Get Your Money Back From the RIAA!

The music industry (Recording Industry Association of America - or RIAA) is settling a lawsuit in which they were sued for price fixing music. If you bought any music CD's, cassettes, or vinyl albums at a retail outlet between 1-1-95 and 12-22-00, you are entitled to some money.
