Windows XP BSOD @ the Olympics
Turns out that Bill Gates was not the only famous Microsoft identity to be spotted at the Olympic opening ceremony.
Numerous bloggers also observed the cameo played by the so-called Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) - the Windows error screen that flashes up on your computer, signifying that it's time to reboot.
The screen was projected onto the roof of the National Stadium during the grand finale to the four-hour spectacular as veteran Chinese gymnast Li Ning, suspended 70 metres above the stadium floor, "jogged" towards the Olympic torch.
Angry man shoots lawn mower for not starting

A Milwaukee man was accused of shooting his lawn mower because it wouldn't start.
I don't know about that one, but I've wanted to chunk a string trimmer in the pond when it wouldn't start.
Ubisoft Steals 'No-CD Crack' To Fix Rainbow 6: Vegas 2
Caught this on slashdot earlier and it's pretty fuuny.
Ubisoft, the video game maker, stole a no-CD crack and implemented it into an official patch released for Rainbow 6 to fix some issues with the game.
There's a discussion on Ubisoft's forums - the same forum where no-CD crack discussions will get a person banned.
